Getting Here

Being located on an island restricts access to beautiful Victoria by air or by sea. Even with those restrictions, your travel options are many.  Your only decision is whether you are looking for comfort, convenience or affordability.

A quick trip by plane from Vancouver, be it via a commercial airline directly to the Victoria International Airport (YYJ) or a more direct adventurous route by float plane or helicopter directly to our downtown inner harbour, can be exhilarating as you fly over scenic views of the Gulf Islands and the Greater Victoria area.

Travelling by motor vehicle necessitates that you take a ferry. A leisurely scenic cruise through the Gulf Islands aboard one of the BC ferries might just be the ticket for weary travellers looking to put up their feet and catch a breath of fresh sea air along with a meal.

Whichever way you choose to travel, Victoria, the City of Gardens, welcomes you.
